GoSolo Read / what it means6 takeaways

performance

Dimensity 6300, Mali-G57 MC2Handles light apps and video calls smoothly, but struggles with demanding games or heavy multitasking at high frame rates.

display

6.75", 720×1600, 90Hz refreshLarge screen with 90Hz scrolling feels smooth, but 260 ppi pixel density and TFT panel mean text and fine detail look soft, especially in direct sunlight.

battery

5300 mAh, no fast-charge specAbout 1 full day of moderate use (6 to 8 hours screen-on), but no stated charging wattage means slow top-ups and no quick-recovery if you run empty.

camera

13MP main, 5MP selfie, 1080p videoMain sensor handles daylight photos adequately thanks to f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, but low resolution limits detail; selfies are basic for video calls or casual snaps.

durability

IP64, 7.9mm thick, 186gIP64 rating protects against dust and water splashes, but not full submersion; slim build and light weight feel fragile against drops or sustained pressure.

connectivity

5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6 absent5G modem supports faster downloads where available, but lack of Wi-Fi 6 (only Wi-Fi 5 ac) means older home broadband will be your real bottleneck.

GoSolo Verdict

The Honor Play 60A is a budget 5G phone with a huge 6.75-inch screen and solid all-day battery, but the 720p TFT display looks soft and the Dimensity 6300 struggles with anything beyond everyday tasks. It is a fair deal for emergent-market shoppers who want screen real estate and connectivity without spending much, but cameras and performance lag noticeably behind rivals in this price band.

Strengths · 4

Large 6.75-inch display with 90Hz refresh feels spacious for video and browsing, even if pixel density trails modern rivals
5300 mAh battery easily clears a full day of moderate use without needing a midday top-up
5G modem (SA/NSA) and solid Wi-Fi 5 coverage future-proof connectivity where networks have rolled out
Slim 7.9mm build and 186g weight make it genuinely comfortable to hold and pocket for hours

Trade-offs · 3

260 ppi TFT LCD panel renders text and photos visibly soft; no high refresh or modern brightness are sacrifices at this price, but rivals now hit sharper 1080p panels in the same range
Charging wattage not disclosed and no mention of fast charging anywhere; typical 5W or 10W top-ups mean recovery from empty takes over an hour
Dimensity 6300 and Mali-G57 GPU handle messaging and light apps fine, but frame rates collapse in mobile games or heavy multitasking
