GoSolo Verdict

The Magic9 brings a trio of 200MP cameras and a sharp OLED display to a polished, lightweight flagship that handles raw processing with aplomb. It's a solidly built device that competes fairly at its €660 price, though it doesn't reinvent the wheel and lacks the standout features that make other 2026 flagships feel essential.

Strengths · 4

Three competent 200MP cameras with color spectrum sensor and ARRI LogC3 support for serious phone videography—a genuine professional angle that most rivals skip
8000 mAh battery is ample and should clear a full day comfortably; 8.5mm thickness keeps it pocketable despite the capacity
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 handles anything thrown at it without hesitation, and 12–16GB RAM pairs well with up to 1TB storage
OLED display hits 2000 nits (HBM) and peaks at 10,000 nits, with 120Hz refresh—bright enough and smooth enough for daily use and outdoor visibility

Trade-offs · 3

No charging wattage specified in the spec sheet, leaving battery refill speed unclear—a critical omission at this price point where 100W+ is now common
200MP sensors are more impressive on paper than in practice; the ultrawide is 50MP and the selfie only 55MP, so the headline number doesn't translate to camera versatility
Only USB Type-C 2.0 in a 2026 flagship feels dated; faster data transfer and DisplayPort would be expected at this tier
