GoSolo Verdict

The Vivo Y60 is a large-screen budget phone with a 6500 mAh battery and 5G support, but hampered by a weak 720p display and entry-level Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset that struggle with everyday multitasking. For €230, it offers raw capacity over substance; if you primarily need a phone that lasts two days and fits a modest budget, it works, but compromises run deep across performance and screen quality.

Strengths · 3

6500 mAh battery easily lasts two days on light use, and 5G connectivity is standard even at this price point
IP65 rating adds real water and dust resistance, uncommon for budget phones under €250
Large 6.74-inch screen with 120Hz refresh gives the illusion of a more capable device for content consumption

Trade-offs · 3

720p resolution on a 6.74-inch display is noticeably soft; text and images lack crispness compared to mid-range rivals at similar prices
Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is underpowered for multitasking and app switching; expect stutters when juggling more than a few apps
15W charging is slow by today's standards, turning a 6500 mAh battery into a lengthy commitment to the charger
