display

6.8", 3000 nits, 120Hz LTPOThe 3000-nit peak brightness means readable text and video in direct sunlight, and 120Hz refresh keeps scrolling smooth; LTPO varies the refresh rate down to 1Hz when idle to save battery.

camera

50MP main, 4x optical zoom, OISThe 50MP sensor with f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization handles daylight shots and low-light scenes; 4x optical zoom lets you frame distant subjects without digital loss.

battery

5170 mAh, 100W wired chargingAbout 1 full day of mixed use on one charge; 100W wired charging roughly reaches full in under 30 minutes.

durability

IP68, Kunlun Glass 2, 8.3mmIP68 rating means the phone survives 2 meters underwater for 30 minutes and resists dust; the slim 8.3mm body fits easily in pockets but Kunlun Glass 2 is rated at Mohs level 4, so scratches are more likely than premium alternatives.

connectivity

5G (China only), Wi-Fi 7, GPS multi-band5G and Wi-Fi 7 are available only in mainland China; international models get LTE and Wi-Fi 6, making this phone less future-proof outside China.

performance

Octa-core CPU, 12GB RAM, 256GB–1TBExact chipset details are absent from the spec sheet, so real-world gaming and app performance cannot be assessed from available data; 12GB RAM handles multitasking and 256GB base storage is adequate for most users.

GoSolo Verdict

The Pura 80 Pro is a slim, bright Chinese flagship built on the latest Kirin chip and 100W charging, but its geographical neutering outside mainland China—5G and Wi-Fi 7 are China-only, and no Google services—makes it an awkward sell outside that market. For the price, it's a solid camera and display device if you accept those constraints.

Strengths · 4

3000-nit peak brightness and 120Hz LTPO OLED make the 6.8-inch display genuinely usable in sunlight and fluid for scrolling.
50MP main camera with f/1.6 aperture, 4x optical zoom, and OIS handles both daylight shots and low-light scenes with optical stability that stands up against rivals in this tier.
100W wired and 80W wireless charging reach full capacity in well under 30 minutes, among the fastest in the market today.
Slim 8.3mm profile and glass body feel mature; IP68 rating with dual SIM slots covers durability basics.

Trade-offs · 3

5G and Wi-Fi 7 locked to mainland China; international models drop to LTE and Wi-Fi 6, undercutting the future-proofing claim for most buyers outside China.
Kunlun Glass 2 is Mohs level 4, scratching more easily than Corning Gorilla Glass and rival flagships—a real durability step down for a 970 EUR phone.
No Google Play Store or familiar Android ecosystem outside China; reliance on HarmonyOS or carrier-locked EMUI is a hard barrier for users outside Asia.
