GoSolo Read / what it means6 takeaways

battery

10600mAh, about 1.5 days moderate useWith a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen running at 120Hz, expect roughly 7 to 9 hours of screen-on time; paired with the power-efficient Dimensity 7300, you'll stretch past a full day on light-to-moderate use before needing to charge.

charging

50W wireless only, roughly 90min to fullNo wired charger listed; 50W wireless charging will take around 90 minutes to 100%, so you cannot do a quick top-up if the battery drops during the day.

display

120Hz AMOLED, 2200 nits peak brightnessThe 1080×2400 panel at 120Hz scrolls smoothly, and 2200 nits means direct sunlight readability is solid even on a cloudy screen; the 100% DCI-P3 color gamut ensures accurate color in photos and video.

performance

Dimensity 7300, 8-core 2.5GHz mid-rangeThe MediaTek chipset with Mali-G615 GPU handles everyday apps, social media, and casual gaming at 60fps; demanding titles like PUBG will drop settings to 30fps or lower.

durability

IP68 and IP69K rated, 450g weightRated for full dust-proof and water-resistant to 1.5m for 30 minutes (IP68) plus high-pressure jet spray (IP69K), this is a rugged device; at 450g, it's notably heavier than most phones, built for drops and rough sites.

storage

512GB internal, microSD expandable512GB on a modern phone handles apps, photos, and media comfortably; microSD slot lets you add another 1TB if needed.

GoSolo Verdict

The Armor 28 Pro is a rugged phone built for fieldwork and outdoor punishment, not for speed or camera versatility. It trades raw performance and charging convenience for durability, a bright AMOLED screen, and a battery that outlasts a demanding workday—handy if you need a phone that survives rough sites, but compromised by wireless-only charging and a mid-range chipset.

Strengths · 4

IP68 + MIL-STD-810H durability rated to 2m drops and 2m water immersion, plus IP69K high-pressure jets—genuinely rugged where rivals offer theater
Bright 120Hz AMOLED screen at 2200 nits and large 10.6kWh battery suit all-day outdoor work without a midday charge
Thoughtful design: secondary 1.04-inch rear AMOLED display for quick glances without opening the phone; dual nano-SIM and microSD expansion
Dedicated infrared night-vision camera with four IR lights—rare and useful on a rugged device for dark site inspection

Trade-offs · 3

50W wireless charging only, taking roughly 90 minutes to full—no wired option and no fast top-ups if battery dips during a shift
At 450g and 19.4mm thick, it is noticeably heavier and bulkier than mainstream phones; not a daily carry for comfort-minded users
Dimensity 7300 is mid-range; gaming and heavy workloads throttle to 30fps or lower, and the 1080p screen keeps it from feeling snappy despite 120Hz refresh
