GoSolo Read / what it means4 takeaways

performance

Dimensity 6300, 8 cores 2.4GHzThis handles everyday apps and light gaming smoothly, but demanding 3D games will need lower graphical settings or will stutter occasionally.

display

6.67" 720p, 120Hz, 480 nitsThe 120Hz refresh makes scrolling smooth, but the 720p resolution means text and fine details look soft, and 480 nits is dim in direct sunlight unless you squint.

battery

5200mAh, about 1.5 to 2 days light useWith modest usage (messaging, calls, browsing), you'll go two days between charges; heavy video streaming or gaming drops that to roughly a single day.

durability

IP54, splash-resistant but not submersibleIt withstands splashes and light rain, but you cannot dunk it in water or submerge it in a pool.

GoSolo Verdict

The TCL 60R is a 100-euro 5G phone that prioritizes battery life and connectivity over display crispness and gaming power. It trades resolution and raw performance for multi-day endurance and modern network support, making it a practical pick for light users in regions where 5G rollout justifies the investment.

Strengths · 4

5200 mAh battery lasts about two days on light use, a real advantage over most rivals at this price
5G connectivity across numerous bands (SA/NSA) ensures future-proofing even in budget tiers
120Hz LCD display keeps scrolling smooth despite the soft 720p resolution
Lightweight at 190g and thin at 8.2mm, easy to pocket and hold for hours

Trade-offs · 3

720p resolution on a 6.7-inch screen looks soft; text and fine detail are noticeably blurry compared to 1080p rivals at similar price
Dimensity 6300 handles apps and casual use but struggles with demanding games; expect stuttering in anything graphically heavy
10W charging is glacially slow; rivals now routinely offer 30W or faster, so a full charge from empty takes well over three hours
