performance

MediaTek Dimensity 6300, ARM Mali-G57Handles everyday apps and light gaming, but not sustained high-load tasks or demanding titles at high settings.

display

120Hz AMOLED, 1400 nits peakSmooth scrolling and reading in bright sunlight without the screen turning into a mirror, 1080p resolution is sharp enough at 6.57 inches.

battery

6500 mAh, roughly 1.5 days light useAbout 8 to 10 hours of screen time under normal use, enough to skip charging during a typical day if you do not stream video constantly.

charging

80W SuperVOOC, roughly 30 to 40 minutesFrom empty to full in under 45 minutes, so a short morning charge can get you through the afternoon.

durability

IP68 and IP69, Dragontrail DT-Star glassWaterproof to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, dust-sealed, and survives accidental drops better than standard glass, though Dragontrail is not as shock-resistant as Gorilla Glass.

storage

128 or 256 GB UFS, expandable to 2 TBFast read/write speeds for app launches and file transfers, and microSD slot means you are not locked into internal storage if you shoot video or keep a large music library.

GoSolo Verdict

The Oppo F31 5G pairs a solid mid-range chipset with a large, bright AMOLED display and a 7000mAh battery, making it a reliable pick for everyday use and media consumption. Its real strength is battery life and screen quality; the Dimensity 6300 keeps gaming and heavy multitasking off the table, but most users won't notice.

Strengths · 4

Large 6.57-inch AMOLED screen at 120Hz with 1400 nits peak brightness—sharp, smooth, and genuinely readable in sunlight without the colours washing out
80W SuperVOOC charging fills the 7000mAh battery in under 45 minutes, and realistic screen-on time stretches past a full day on moderate use
IP68/IP69 rating with MIL-STD-810H compliance is rare for this price tier; waterproofing and dust sealing actually matter if you work outdoors or near water
UFS 2.2 storage with microSD expansion keeps apps and files snappy without forcing cloud dependency for large libraries

Trade-offs · 3

Dimensity 6300 is entry-level for gaming and sustained heavy multitasking—3D games stutter at high settings, and long video editing sessions will feel sluggish
1080p resolution at 6.57 inches is soft when you look closely; rivals at this price now push 1440p or close to it
50MP main camera with no ultrawide or telephoto means you are framing shots within the wide lens alone, and low-light detail is average for the segment
