display

720p, 6.75-inch IPS, 120HzLow pixel density (256 ppi) means text and icons look soft at close reading distance; 120Hz refresh feels smooth when scrolling, but the 720p resolution is noticeably coarser than phones at this price point typically offer.

performance

MediaTek Dimensity 6300, 8-core 2.4 GHzEntry-level processor handles messaging, social media, and video playback without lag, but will struggle with heavy games or multitasking; AnTuTu benchmark around 550,000 points.

battery

6500mAh, about 1.5 to 2 days light useLarge capacity means you'll go longer between charges on a day of mostly messaging and calls, but mixed use or streaming will require a top-up by evening.

durability

IP64, splash-resistant onlyProtects against splashes and brief water exposure, but will not survive being dunked or sustained rain; you must keep it away from puddles and wet pockets.

GoSolo Verdict

The Oppo A6x 5G is a budget phone built around a 6500 mAh battery and 5G connectivity, but the 720p display and weak processor make it feel dated even for its price tier. It works well if you mainly text and call; heavy use reveals its limitations.

Strengths · 4

6500 mAh battery easily lasts a full day of mixed use, something many rivals at this price skip
5G ready at a price point where many competitors still skip it or charge a premium
120Hz display refresh keeps scrolling smooth despite the low resolution
Side-mounted fingerprint sensor is faster and more reliable than under-display alternatives at this cost

Trade-offs · 3

720p resolution on a 6.75-inch screen looks notably soft; text and icons blur at reading distance, and it undercuts rivals at this price who have moved to 1080p
Dimensity 6300 processor is entry-level; gaming, multitasking, and app switching will stutter compared to phones even 1000 rupees higher
13 MP main camera is basic and will disappoint in poor light or when cropping; no ultrawide, no telephoto
