performance

1.4 GHz quad-core, 4-year-old chipThe Spreadtrum SC9832E struggles with anything beyond light messaging and web browsing; expect lag in games and freezes when you open multiple apps.

battery

3020 mAh, about 1 day light useWith a small battery and low-power display, you'll get roughly 16 to 20 hours if you mostly text and call, much less if you stream video.

display

5 inch, 720p, 60 HzThe 294 ppi screen is sharp enough for reading at arm's length, but the 60 Hz refresh and lower brightness make scrolling feel stiff.

storage

32 GB internal, microSD up to 32 GBYou start with about 20 GB usable space for apps and photos after the system takes its share; expand via microSD card if you keep videos or music.
